Intro to project
On September 11th 2001 the world witnessed a tragic event that would change the world significantly. This event altered not only the course of many peoples lives but also the foundation of global security and politics around the world. The devastating attacks that hit the United States reshaped national security strategies, sparked changes in immigration and forever changed how terrorism is viewed on a domestic and global scale.
This project explores how 9/11 resulted and therefore led to changes in governmental policies regarding national security and immigration. As well as examining how the media can be traced to view global perceptions of the tragic event, and how the media influenced the changes itself. Through this website we will explore the interconnectedness of media, 9/11 and governmental polices as well as the long-lasting effects they have on society
